Job Summary
Proud to Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team of agency care workers. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care facilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
We are hiring for multiple roles in the care sector aimed at looking after vulnerable adults in the residential, dementia and respite care sectors. We are looking for people with a drive and passion to make a positive difference to residents lives.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition using IT systems.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care in both home care and care home settings.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients as needed.
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans is beneficial.
- A caring attitude, patience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
