Dolce is a national school meals caterer providing freshly made school meals across the UK. We are a family business and one of the fastest growing school meals providers in the UK. Our contract retention rates are unrivalled and our new business comes largely from word-of-mouth. Our existing customers are our priority and our high quality product speaks for itself. We specialise in freshly cooked meals from raw ingredients.
We have around 600 schools across the UK and value our reputation for delicious school meals and reward those who enhance this reputation.
As a result of business growth, we are seeking to appoint a Group Manager to cover the UB10 area.
Purpose of the Role
Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring the catering conforms to company and school standards and be responsible for assisting with financial management, together with ensuring service delivery is of a consistently high standard.
- You will manage a patch of schools and be responsible for the day to day running of the area, training and setting targets with kitchen managers.
- You will liaise with school business managers through various communication methods, implement food safety policies where applicable and will have overall responsibility for health & safety standards across your area.
Key Skills Needed
In order to succeed, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing others, and will have experience within a similar role and environment.
Multi site experience is a must.
You will be able to build effective client relationships and will have recognised catering and food hygiene qualifications. You will have excellent communication skills, be IT literate and must possess a full UK driving license.
You must have at least a GCSE level qualification in maths and English.
