We are a family run haulage contractor in Newhouse Lanarkshire and currently recruiting for Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our team. These position are for full-time and permanent contracts.
As a tipper driver with our company your role will involve delivering and collecting bulk materials, including aggregates, asphalt, soil and waste, across central Scotland. We operate within the construction, surfacing and waste sectors and run a modern and up to date fleet of tipper vehicles.
Day shift positions available.
Day shift over night work available (full time or Ad Hoc basis).
Weekend work available (Enhanced rate).
Night shift work available (Enhanced rate).
In addition to our basic and overtime rate, we operate a weekly driver bonus scheme, based on your performance, productivity, compliance, punctuality and vehicle condition.
Applicants should have:
- Minimum 1 year tipper experience (training will be available for the right candidate)
- Full Class 2 Licence, Valid CPC entitlement and Digital Tachograph card
- Less than 6 points on their licence (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes)
- MPQC preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge of the road networks around Scotland
- Punctual with good time keeping, communication and customer skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards working
