HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers - Full time
Location: Doncaster
Annual Salary: £31,830
Staffzilla Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a fantastic full-time opportunity based in Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, secure employment with a well-established logistics business.
Please note: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience to be considered for this role.
Available Shifts & Pay
4 on 4 Off – Days
- 06:00 – 18:00
- £16.62 per hour
Sunday – Thursday – Nights
Monday – Friday – Days
The Role
You'll be driving modern Class 1 articulated vehicles with curtainside trailers, delivering palletised goods to commercial customers across the UK. Routes are well planned, offering a mix of regional deliveries and supported by an experienced transport team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver palletised goods safely and efficiently to customer locations.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in line with customer requirements.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and POD documentation accurately.
- Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and all road transport legislation.
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- A professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Previous curtainside or palletised delivery experience is desirable but not essential.
