Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Supervise children during playtime, learning sessions, meals, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Manage daily routines, including attendance, behavior management, and record keeping
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of childcare, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Support children's individual learning needs by adapting activities and providing personalized guidance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery environment through innovative ideas and feedback
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting, with early childhood education qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education
- Valid childcare or nursery experience certification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Pay: From £13.37 per hour
Work Location: In person
