- Maintain organized and attractive merchandise displays to encourage sales and enhance store presentation
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient checkout processes
- Keep the sales area clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to merchandising standards and safety guidelines
Experience
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key!
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities (especially in English and Spanish) are highly valued for connecting with diverse customers
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and giving correct change
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock displays and maintain a tidy workspace
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is a plus but can be learned on the job
