Job Summary
Simple Tusk HGV and PCV Driving Services Contractor is an experienced HGV and PCV driver who provides professional driving services for a variety of commercial and passenger transport needs. Boasting of vast experience I am able to operate flatbed lorries and passenger carrying vehicles, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery or transportation services. The roles already exposed to Simple Tusk HGV and PCV Driving Services Contractors to excellent opportunity with a passion for road safety and customer service to contribute to reliable transportation teams.
Duties
- Operate HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) and PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) in accordance with legal and safety regulations
- Drive flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods or transport passengers
- Conduct pre-journey safety inspections of vehicles and report any issues promptly
- Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded, adhering to safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance
- Follow designated routes and schedules efficiently while complying with traffic laws
- Assist with loading or unloading cargo when necessary
- Uphold high standards of customer service during deliveries or passenger transport
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with HGV and PCV vehicles
- Delivery driver experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with flatbed vehicle operations preferred
- Valid driving licences for HGV and PCV categories recognised in the UK
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently under various conditions
