Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to support the smooth operation of our bar and hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid background in food and beverage service. Responsibilities
- Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and motivate bar staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met across all offerings.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed.
- Support the organisation of events and special functions within the venue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, food production, and safety protocols.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Contribute to menu planning by providing input on beverage and food options based on current trends and customer preferences.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, ideally with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Experience working in a bar or restaurant setting with knowledge of serving techniques.
- Familiarity with culinary processes, kitchen operations, and food production standards.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous.
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry. Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
