Private Hire Driver – Limousine, Minibus & Double-Decker Party Bus
Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and reliable Private Hire Driver to join our team, operating a range of vehicles including limousines, minibuses, and double-decker party buses. The ideal candidate will combine safe, skilled driving with outstanding customer service, ensuring every journey is smooth, enjoyable, and on time. A valid commercial driving licence and experience with larger vehicles are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate limousines, minibuses, and party buses in line with traffic laws and company standards.
- Deliver a first-class customer experience, providing a welcoming, friendly, and professional service throughout each journey.
- Carry out thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.
- Keep accurate logs of trips, including mileage, fuel use, timings, and any incidents.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Navigate efficiently to ensure punctual arrivals for bookings and events.
- Support passengers with boarding, luggage, or special requirements when necessary.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of all vehicles at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Proven driving experience in at least one of the following: limousine services, minibus or coach driving, or larger vehicles such as party buses.
- Strong focus on hospitality and customer care, with the ability to create a fun yet safe environment for passengers.
- Confident handling of vehicles in a variety of driving conditions, including busy urban routes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for simple checks and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
- Organised, punctual, and reliable, with the ability to manage schedules and routes effectively.
- Previous experience in event transport or private hire is highly desirable.
