Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Plan optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Assist with inventory checks and reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety procedures for commercial driving
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary
- Strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep accurate records
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
