We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mobile Phone Testing & Online Sales Assistant to join our team.The role involves testing and assessing mobile phones, preparing them for sale, and listing and selling them through online auction and marketplace platforms.Key Responsibilities
- Test mobile phones thoroughly for functionality and condition.
- Check screens, cameras, speakers, microphones, charging ports, buttons, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, network connectivity and other key functions.
- Identify faults, damage and cosmetic condition accurately.
- Check IMEI and device information where required.
- Prepare phones for sale, including resetting devices and ensuring they are ready for the customer.
- Take clear photographs and write accurate, appealing listings.
- List mobile phones on online auction and marketplace websites.
- Manage listings, answer customer questions and monitor sales.
- Package sold phones safely and arrange dispatch.
- Keep accurate records of stock, testing results and sales.
- Help maximise selling prices while providing an excellent customer experience.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience selling products online is essential.
- Good knowledge and experience testing mobile phones is essential.
- Experience using online auction/marketplace platforms such as eBay or similar.
- Good knowledge of different mobile phone brands and models.
- Ability to identify faults and accurately assess the condition of used phones.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicating with customers online.
- Reliable, honest and able to work independently.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
Desirable
- Experience buying and reselling mobile phones.
- Knowledge of current mobile phone values and resale prices.
- Experience with eBay Seller Hub or similar selling platforms.
- Experience photographing products and creating professional listings.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
