Jam Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for Hygiene Operatives to join a busy food production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work within a fast-paced food production environment.
The Role
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the production area. Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and sanitising production lines and machinery
- Cleaning floors, work areas and other production equipment
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Removing food waste and debris from production areas
- Ensuring hygiene standards are maintained throughout the shift
- Following company cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Working as part of a team to ensure production areas are ready for the next shift
- Reporting any issues with equipment, cleanliness or hygiene to the relevant supervisor
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a good work ethic and reliable attendance
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment
- Be physically fit, as the role involves standing, bending and cleaning for extended periods
- Have good attention to detail
- Be able to follow instructions and hygiene procedures
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Have previous cleaning, hygiene or food production experience (desirable but not essential)
pay £13.77 p/h.
Working hours are 5PM - 1:30AM Mon- Fri.
Weekend work will also be required.
