Maintenance Engineer
Days - Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Job Summary:
Responsible for planned and reactive mechanical, electrical and facilities maintenance duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carrying out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing assets.
- Minimising down time.
- Support all aspects of continuous improvement.
- Able to work under your own initiative with minimum supervision.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in a variety of CNC control systems and machine types.
- Experience in repairing gearboxes, pumps, motors and ballscrews.
- 3-phase electrical maintenance
- Experience in Electrical and mechanical fault finding - controls, control panel fault find and repair
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors
- Welding & fabrication
- Facilities maintenance
- Understanding of PLC Ladders
- Experience in 5 axis machine alignment
Experience and Education:
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations
- IPAF and Forklift trained
- Time Served and Qualified Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer
- IEE Regulations Qualified would be beneficial
- Experience of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak / Mazatrol, Haas control experience advantageous
- Knowledge of PLC's/Control Systems/Automation - advantageous
