Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Face-to-Face Interpreter/Translator with MUST HAVE LEVEL 2 QUALIFICATIONS in the specified languages listed below. This dynamic role involves providing accurate, clear, and culturally sensitive interpretation and translation services in person, ensuring effective communication between clients and service providers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multilingual communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to diverse settings. Responsibilities
- Deliver professional face-to-face interpretation and translation services in designated languages to facilitate clear communication between clients and organizations
- Accurately interpret spoken language in real-time during meetings, appointments, or other interactions, maintaining the original tone and intent
- Translate written documents, forms, or correspondence with precision and cultural sensitivity
- Assist clients with navigating language-related challenges, ensuring they understand instructions or information provided
- Maintain confidentiality of all interpreted content and adhere to ethical standards of impartiality and professionalism
- Utilize typing skills to accurately record interpreted conversations or translate written materials efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality of interpretation services across all assignments
Requirements
- Must hold Level 2 Qualifications for face-to-face interpretation/translation in the specified languages listed below (please specify the languages needed)
- Multilingual proficiency with fluency in English and at least one additional language from the list below
- Bilingual capabilities are essential for effective communication across diverse populations
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and cultural awareness
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation within professional settings
- Excellent typing skills for document translation and note-taking purposes
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to different environments, schedules, and client needs
Pay: £16.00-£17.50 per hour
