Due to expansion, Orwell Motorcycles is looking for an additional motorcycle technician / PDI technician to be based in our workshop in Ipswich.
We are one of the largest new and used motorcycle dealers in East Anglia and currently have the franchises for Kawasaki, Suzuki, Royal Enfield, CF Moto and KTM.
The successful candidate will be:
Willing to work on all brands of motorcycles and take an active part in manufacturer training (in house, online and at other UK locations) which will cover diagnostic and electrical work as well as mechanical subjects.
A good team player, so being able to communicate well with both customers and staff is essential.
Have the ability to work flexibly under your own initiative, to problem solve and complete tasks in a timely manner.
You do not need to be a qualified MOT tester, although this would be an advantage.
A full motorcycle license is not essential, candidates on an A2 license will be considered.
We would welcome applications from technicians who have experience in other areas of the motor trade. (Cars / Vans etc)
This position will require working Monday to Friday - and every third Saturday.
