Learning Support Assistant - The Role
- Supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4
- Working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Providing 1:1 and small-group classroom support
- Implementing effective strategies to support engagement, behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and pastoral teams
Essential Requirements (MUST HAVE)
- Proven SEN and/or SEMH experience
- Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Proven success in using effective strategies to support the most vulnerable pupils in the classroom
- A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication, behaviour management, and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
