Steel Operative - Dudley

Hours
- Working mornings and afternoons, rotating weekly
- Mornings: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Mon to Fri)
- Afternoons: 2:00pm - 10:00am (Mon to Thurs) / 10:00am - 6:00pm (Fri)
- 40 hours per week
The role of Steel Operative:
- Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
- Driving counterbalance FLTs
- Assisting with loading / offloading steel on machine lines
- Banding, packing and palletising stock
The ideal Steel Operative:
- Experience of operating overhead cranes to handle steel is required
- You won't need an Overhead Crane licence
A Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator is required for a steel processing company based in the Dudley area of the West Midlands.
It's a great opportunity to join a well-established, reputable steel company during a period of growth, working on a temp to perm basis.
You will be operating overhead cranes, driving FLTs, banding up coils and more.
