- Full-time, temp ongoing with long-term potential
- 4 days on / 4 days off
- 4 nights on / 4 days off
- Rotating shift pattern
The role of FLT Counterbalance Driver:
- Safely operate a FLT Counterbalance truck to load and unload goods
- Ensure accurate checking and handling of deliveries
- Identify and report any discrepancies or potential service issues promptly
- Support picking, packing, and documentation processes
- Use manual handling equipment safely where required
- Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance
- Report any damage to property or equipment
- Work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced warehouse team
The ideal FLT Counterbalance Driver:
- Valid B1 FLT Counterbalance licence (in-date, essential)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Good English communication skills (spoken, written and reading)
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Experience with 3.5 tonne double pallet handlers (desirable)
This role is based at a well-established and highly respected logistics warehouse in Heathfield Way, Northamptonshire NN5.
All candidates will complete a site induction, FLT assessment, and Drug and Alcohol test prior to starting.
