BTB Academy Ltd is a UK-based international education company focused on UK-China educational collaboration and AI-driven educational innovation.
Since 2010, our founder has worked closely with the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, organising professional development programmes in the UK for leading Chinese headteachers and senior educational researchers. Our long-term partners include the University of Cambridge Faculty of Education and a number of prestigious British independent schools.
Over the past decade, we have built strong relationships with school leaders, educators, and international education organisations across both China and the UK. Following the rapid growth of early-age study abroad demand and the increasing need for digital transformation in international schools, BTB Academy Ltd is now expanding rapidly in two key areas:
* UK independent school admissions and ISEB business development in China;
* AI-powered assessment and learning system upgrades for Chinese international schools.
We are now seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager to join our growing team and help drive the next stage of expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. ISEB Business Development in China
- Support the expansion of ISEB-related business activities within the Chinese market;
- Develop partnerships with Chinese study-abroad agencies, international schools, and education groups;
- Help partner organisations better understand the ISEB Pre-test framework and assessment standards;
- Organise training sessions, seminars, webinars, and promotional events;
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners in China;
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities.
2. AI Education & School Digital Transformation
- Promote advanced UK assessment systems and AI-powered learning platforms to Chinese international schools;
- Work directly with school principals, academic directors, and education groups;
- Support schools in upgrading traditional examination systems to digital and AI-enabled solutions;
- Introduce personalised learning systems and data-driven educational analytics;
- Monitor developments in EdTech and AI education trends to support strategic planning.
3. Strategic Growth & Brand Development
- Support the company’s China market growth strategy;
- Assist with brand development and industry engagement activities;
- Maintain relationships with UK schools and international education partners;
- Contribute to future expansion and potential investment initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Education & Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the British education system, particularly UK independent schools and early-age study abroad pathways;
- Experience within international education, study abroad consultancy, international schools, education technology, or related sectors;
- Familiarity with the Chinese education market is highly desirable.
2. Business Development Skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills;
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability;
- Existing networks within China’s education sector would be a significant advantage;
- Ability to independently manage partnerships and commercial projects.
3. AI & Educational Technology Awareness
- Understanding of AI applications within education;
- Interest in digital assessment systems, learning analytics, and personalised learning solutions;
- Ability to engage school leadership teams in discussions regarding educational innovation and digital transformation.
4. Language Skills
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese;
- Able to conduct professional presentations and business discussions bilingually.

Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
