The business has created a structured Trainee Financial Planner programme for someone who wants to steadily build their knowledge, gain experience across the business and develop towards becoming an established Financial Adviser.
The emphasis is on learning properly, achieving motivating milestones and progressing at each stage.
The Development Programme
You'll initially gain exposure across the firm's Administration and Paraplanning teams, giving you a strong understanding of how financial planning works from the ground up.
As you develop, you'll benefit from:
- The opportunity to sit in on client meetings alongside Paraplanners and gain early client-facing experience.
- Full support towards the Diploma in Financial Planning and Chartered qualifications.
- Increasing responsibility as your technical knowledge and confidence develop.
- Mentorship from experienced Financial Advisers once you've progressed into paraplanning.
- The opportunity to develop your client-facing skills and understanding of advice.
- Ultimately, the opportunity to inherit and manage your own client bank as you progress into an Adviser role.
The aim is to give you a complete understanding of financial planning, from administration and technical paraplanning through to client relationships and delivering advice.

This opportunity is open to different backgrounds. You could be:
- A recent graduate or A Level leaver with a genuine interest in financial planning.
- Someone with transferable experience from another area of financial services.
- An IFA Administrator looking to progress into paraplanning.
- Someone who has already started their financial planning qualifications.
Most importantly, they're looking for someone who is bright, motivated, curious and genuinely committed to building a career in financial planning.
You don't need to know everything from day one. What matters is your attitude, willingness to learn and desire to steadily develop.
