We are seeking a motivated Facilities Engineer Apprentice to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems across the site.
- Support the realisation of planned maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Learn to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams relevant to facility systems.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, including basic repairs and electrical fault rectification.
- Contribute to safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support supervising staff in daily operational tasks and maintenance activities.
- Develop understanding of customer service principles by assisting internal teams with technical support when required.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, or related fields is desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams will be advantageous.
- Practical skills in hand tools or mechanical repairs are a plus.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- A proactive attitude with a keen interest in maintenance, engineering, or facilities management.
