We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Bendigo Nursing Home, a warm and welcoming care facility committed to providing high-quality support for our elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support nursing staff in delivering safe, person-centered care
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes in residents’ health or wellbeing
- Help create a clean, safe, and dignified environment for all residents
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred – full training provided
- A kind, patient, and respectful approach to elderly care
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Employment subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references from previous employment
