Stem are looking to employ an Architectural Assistant to support the design and delivery of architectural projects and provide value to our clients by working as part of a collaborative, ambitious and value-driven team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a leading architectural practice in Lincoln on a variety of projects and sectors, from multi-million-pound care homes, the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and with charities such as LEAP and the YMCA.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of design proposals from concept through to technical delivery.
- Produce high-quality drawings, presentation material, planning packages and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the production of 3D modelling and visualisation using Autodesk Revit.
- Support the preparation and submission of planning applications and other regulatory applications.
- Opportunity to work across all the RIBA Work Stages.
- Assist in the production of technical drawing packages and coordinated project information.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Attend project and site meetings (if/where required) and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to BIM workflows and the continual development of office standards.
- Support general duties within the office and contribute positively to the studio environment.
Experience
- Knowledge of Autodesk software, AutoCAD & Revit is essential.
- Good design, technical and presentation skills.
- Graphical communication and visualisation abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of UK Planning Policy and Building Regulations preferred
- Awareness of BIM processes and collaborative working methods.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- A good communicator who can work collaboratively with the team, clients and project stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to continue professional development.
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
