Job Title: Cleaning Site Supervisor
Location: Severn Beach, Bristol
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Site Supervisor to join our team at a busy food manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance are maintained throughout the site in line with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting the cleaning team on a daily basis
- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to the required standards
- Carrying out regular quality checks and audits
- Managing stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
- Ensuring Health & Safety and COSHH procedures are followed at all times
- Completing daily paperwork and cleaning records accurately
- Liaising with site management and reporting any issues promptly
- Training and mentoring cleaning operatives where required
- Supporting with recruitment, inductions, and performance management
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience within cleaning services essential
- Experience within a food factory, manufacturing, or hygiene environment preferred
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
