The Commercial Analyst is a key member of the UKI Commercial Finance team, providing the analysis, reporting and decision support that underpins strong commercial performance across our branded and store brand portfolio.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partners and the wider Commercial team, you will turn data from multiple systems into clear, actionable insight on Net Sales, Gross Margin, pricing, Gross-to-Net (G2N) and A&P investment.
The role suits a commercially minded, analytically strong finance professional who is comfortable working at pace and building trusted relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Commercial Planning, Reporting & Insight

Contribute to the IBP / S&OE forecast cycle and the annual budget, ensuring assumptions across volume, price, mix, margin and spend are robust and clearly documented.

Produce timely, accurate commercial reporting across brands, categories, customers and channels, providing clear P&L visibility to the business.

Prepare insightful commentary that links performance trends to market data, explaining the key drivers, risks and opportunities behind the numbers.

Analyse mix and margin performance to identify key commercial drivers, highlight movements, and support actions to improve profitability.
Business Partnering & Decision Support

Support the Finance Business Partners in identifying risks and opportunities in Net Sales and Gross Margin, and in driving actions to close performance gaps.

Deliver ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling and decision support for key commercial initiatives.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Commercial Strategy to ensure financial insight is embedded in commercial decision-making.
Pricing, G2N & A&P

Support the management of pricing and G2N processes alongside the RGM team, tracking accruals and ensuring investment delivers appropriate ROI.

Review and understand the monthly G2N performance, explaining key movements and implications for commercial performance.

Work with Sales Support to manage commercial administration, ensuring timely approvals, regular accrual reviews & accurate system alignment.
Governance & Controls

Ensure appropriate financial scrutiny of accruals, balance sheet positions and local commercial contracts.

Uphold SOX compliance and adhere to all internal financial control procedures and company policies.

Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve reporting processes and ways of working.
