About Ellers Farm Distillery
Ellers Farm Distillery is a premium spirits brand with a fast-growing direct-to-consumer business, including brands such as Dutch Barn Vodka. Our e-commerce website plays a critical role in driving sales, brand perception, and customer loyalty. We are looking for a Digital Experience Executive to own, optimise and continuously improve the end-to-end website experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our digital channels.
The Role
As Digital Experience Executive, you will be responsible for managing, optimising, and evolving the e-commerce website (Shopify store) to maximise performance, usability, and conversion. This is a hands-on role combining website management, UX optimisation, content strategy, and cross-team collaboration, with a strong focus on commercial performance. You will also support the execution of campaigns, product launches, reporting and operational e-commerce activity, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Optimisation
· Manage and maintain the day-to-day running of the e-commerce website, including product updates, content, design updates, merchandising, SEO and troubleshooting issues.
- Own the overall look, feel and customer experience of the website, identifying opportunities to improve usability and conversion.
· Upload and manage product data, imagery, categorisation and landing pages.
· Support campaign execution, homepage updates, promotional activity and key trading periods.
Data, Performance & Reporting
- Monitor website analytics and customer behaviour using tools such as Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics and Hotjar.
- Regularly use Shopify reports to understand our customer journey and produce regular reports on website performance, conversion, and sales data.
- Identify key opportunities for optimisation and growth based on data insights.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Deliver the website content strategy in line with the content calendar. Align content with paid strategies and key events.
- Work closely with the in-house content creators and internal teams to deliver engaging, SEO-optimised, conversion-led content.
- Ensure all website content aligns with brand tone of voice, messaging, and overall e-commerce strategy.
- Regularly review and refresh site content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and performance.
Collaboration & Commercial Focus
- Collaborate with marketing and PPC teams to support omni-channel campaigns and paid traffic performance.
- Support key trading periods, promotions, and product launches through theme development and site updates.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to help achieve monthly turnover targets and commercial goals.
Compliance, Trends & Team Support
- Understand industry regulations, particularly around the online sale of alcohol.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices in e-commerce, UX, CRO, and digital marketing.
· Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure the e-commerce function runs smoothly.
Shopify Management & Website Merchandising
· Support the day-to-day running of the Shopify website, keeping products, collections, pricing, and content accurate and up to date.
· Assist with on-site merchandising, including updating homepage content, organising collections, and highlighting key products and promotions.
· Help build and update product pages and landing pages to support campaigns, launches, and seasonal activity.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
· Experience in an e-commerce, digital merchandising, website management or similar role.
· Experience managing or working within Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
· An understanding of UX, CRO, and website performance optimisation.
· Experience using analytics tools to inform decisions and improvements.
· Confident collaborating and working on projects with other members of the team.
· Commercially minded with a strong focus on performance and sales.
· Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
· Ability to use tools such as Canva to create, adapt and optimise digital assets for website and campaign activity.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work accurately and on time.
Desirable
- Experience within alcohol, or e-commerce led brands.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, personalisation platforms, and CMS systems.
- Basic understanding of SEO and paid media performance.
· Experience working with agencies and external partners.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
