Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Bar Staff to join our vibrant team . As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Your role will involve not only bartending but also assisting with food service where necessary , making it essential that you possess a strong understanding of food safety and time management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Assist with the serving of food items as needed, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
- Handle transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or event hospitality setting is essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic bartending skills with an understanding of drinks, including cocktails and beverage upselling.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated when required.
- Must have basic experience in a Bar environment & basic cocktail making
- Our venues can run from early hours in the morning for a conference to late in the evening until 2am depending on the event type
