AK Wealth is a growing wealth management and financial planning firm supporting professionals, business owners, retirees, and British expatriates with financial planning, investment management, and lifestyle advice.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Performance & Wellbeing Coach to work closely with our CEO and support the wider team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in coaching, counselling, psychology, wellbeing, mentoring, or personal development who is passionate about helping individuals perform at their best both professionally and personally.
The Opportunity
This is a unique role that combines elements of coaching, wellbeing support, accountability, and personal development.
You will become a trusted member of the AK Wealth team, working directly with the CEO to help improve focus, productivity, resilience, wellbeing, and leadership effectiveness, while also supporting team engagement and culture.
This role would suit someone early to mid-career looking to develop their coaching expertise within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.
Key Responsibilities
CEO Support
- Hold weekly coaching and accountability sessions with the CEO.
- Support goal setting, planning, and personal development.
- Help maintain focus on key priorities and objectives.
- Assist with time management and productivity systems.
- Act as a confidential sounding board for challenges and opportunities.
Wellbeing & Performance
- Promote positive wellbeing habits and routines.
- Support stress management and resilience.
- Encourage work-life balance and sustainable performance.
- Help identify and address obstacles affecting performance.
- Introduce practical tools and techniques for personal effectiveness.
Team Development
- Deliver wellbeing and personal development initiatives.
- Support employee engagement activities.
- Facilitate workshops on topics such as resilience, communication, mindset, and productivity.
- Assist with onboarding and personal development planning.
Culture & Engagement
- Help build a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
- Support internal recognition and wellbeing programmes.
- Encourage collaboration and accountability across teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, counselling, wellbeing, psychology, HR, teaching, training, or a related field.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Empathetic, approachable, and highly trustworthy.
- Organised and proactive.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Desirable
- Coaching qualification or currently working towards one.
- Experience supporting business owners or senior leaders.
- Knowledge of personal development, behavioural psychology, or wellbeing practices.
- Experience facilitating workshops or training sessions.

- Psychology graduate
- Former counsellor or therapist
- Life coach or wellness coach
- HR professional with a coaching background
- Sports psychology or performance coaching background
- Recent graduate with coaching qualifications and strong emotional intelligence
