About us
APS Packaging is a family-run manufacturer based in Bideford, founded in 2000, with around 70 staff, our own delivery fleet and a 300,000 sq ft manufacturing site. We make wooden pallets, crates, export packaging and hybrid packaging, and provide contract packing - and we're actively growing beyond pallets into the full packaging range.
About the role
You'll find and win new business customers across the South West - a mix of your own prospecting and leads from our marketing. You'll visit customers, understand what they ship and how, recommend the right packaging solution, quote it with support from our office team, and see it through to first delivery. Site visits matter in this trade: seeing a customer's product is usually what wins the order.

What you'll do
- Prospect new business through visits, calls, referrals and our marketing leads
- Meet customers on site and spec the right pallet, crate or packaging solution
- Prepare and follow up quotations with support from the office team
- Keep our CRM up to date
- Hand won accounts into the office team for smooth day-to-day service
- Achieve agreed sales targets
What you'll bring
- B2B sales or field sales experience - packaging or timber knowledge useful but not required
- Confidence with business owners, buyers and production managers
- Self-motivation - you'll manage your own diary
- Full UK driving licence
Hours and location
Monday to Friday, based at APS Packaging, Chubb Road, Bideford, Devon EX39 4HE, with regular customer visits across the South West.
