MC Truck & Bus Ltd (part of the MC Group) is a successful and established truck dealer in the South of England. We operate multi-franchised dealer points alongside a dynamic rental business.
We currently have a full-time vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Thurrock Depot.
Salary: Potential earnings including overtime and bonus is circa £35,000 per annum.
Hours
42 ½ hours per week
Monday to Friday 6 am – 3 pm
You may be required to work the occasional Saturday which will be paid at time and half.
Main duties include:
· Forklift daily checks
· Maintaining a high level of housekeeping at all times ensuring health and safety guidelines are adhered to
· Battery ordering/charging
· Perpetual stock checks
· Monthly oil stock checks
· Oil/lubricants ordering
· Volvo & Isuzu DCR
· Exchange core returns
· Stationery ordering
· Hazardous waste collection organisation
· Scrap skip collection
· Periodic warranty store clearing
· Weekly check of exchange parts IBT’d & transfer eligibility on CMS
· Putting stock away
· Arranging collections/delivery when necessary
· Assisting with parts deliveries / movements as & when necessary
· Organising morning VOR deliveries including producing invoices
Essential Requirements
· Forklift license required
· A positive can-do attitude
· Hardworking and well organised
· Flexible approach
· Competent on Microsoft Office & a basic understanding of computer systems
· Attention to detail to ensure accurate data inputting
· Open to adaptation & change as necessary
· Willingness to learn
· Experienced with general warehouse duties
· Previous experience within a parts department
