Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various premises. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided, but a positive attitude and good communication skills are important.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and efficiently
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
- Assist porters with their duties, working as part of a wider team.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding politely to client requests or queries
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with clients and team members
- Basic driving skills are a plus for roles requiring travel between sites, though not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to standard
