Wilkinson Haulage Ltd is a family own and run haulage business located in the North West. With a fleet of 5 x8 wheeled tippers, Bronze FORS accreditation and own maintenance workshop, we are an ambitious growing company, providing quality service in a competitive market.
We are looking for an experienced full-time tipper driver to join our team. Competitive rates of pay, bonus scheme, company pension scheme, CPC and FORS training fully funded, 20 days holidays plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities
· Operate Class 2 tipper trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently.
· Ensure timely delivery good while adhering to all traffic regulations.
· Maintain accurate tachograph records, following working time directive and driver hours regulations.
· Conduct daily checks and perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle
· Support the maintenance of the vehicle as part of the role
· Work with Director/ Transport Manager, and Business Manager to meet the needs of the company, carrying out your role to the best of your ability, and completing delegated tasks as required.
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
· Identifying training needs and participate in training required.4Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate effectively with office and transport management staff.
· Collaborate with team members to optimize process and services.
· Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any enquiries or concerns.
Qualification
· Valid and clean Cat C drivers license
· Have a valid and up to date CPC card and training
· Have valid digital tachograph card
· Have a mobile phone/device
· Proven experience as a tipper driver for a minimum of 18 months
· Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team member
Desirable
· Good mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance
· Knowledge of FORS
