Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families?
We are seeking a motivated Health Promotion Practitioner to join our Healthy Futures team, delivering engaging public health initiatives across Warwickshire.
This role starts on 1 September 2026 and is countywide, working term time only.
You will work with schools, families and community partners to promote positive health messages. This includes delivering interactive sessions, assemblies and group activities on healthy eating, friendships and emotional wellbeing, ensuring inclusive, age appropriate delivery.
You will support the National Child Measurement Programme and Health Needs Assessment activity, using approved systems to ensure accurate data recording. You will also contribute to community events, parent workshops and peer programmes.
This is a community focused role with some school based delivery, so flexibility is required. We offer flexibility in return and are open to different working patterns.
Above all, we are looking for the right person.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
You will have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with children, young people and families in community or school settings
- Confidence delivering engaging, tailored sessions
- Strong IT skills and accurate data recording ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and strong relationship building skills
- Access to your own transport and the ability to travel across Warwickshire
Experience in a community health team or public health delivery is helpful but not essential.
We offer training, supervision and development in a supportive environment.
If you are motivated, organised and passionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you.
