We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Duties
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Document any incidents or irregularities in detailed reports for further investigation.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential risks and recommending improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience in operating in a licensed areas
Skills
- Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage emergency situations.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail, ensuring no potential threats go unnoticed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and integrity at all times.
