We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and inspiring Sous Chef.

Main responsibilities
- Overseeing the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- Planning and directing food preparation and presentation of culinary dishes to a high standard
- To monitor stock movement and ensure stock security.
- To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
- To assist with the provision of training and development for department staff in kitchen
- Comply with health and safety and food safety legislation throughout the department
What we are looking for
- Previous supervisory experience within a hotel environment
- Must be highly passionate about food and its quality and presentation
- Have the creativity to produce the finest food using only the finest ingredients
- Excellent organisation skills with a hands-on approach
- Must be confident under pressure in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail with dedication and commitment
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
40 hours per week
Working 5 days out of 7 (weekends included)
