Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Event Cleaners to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at various event venues. This role is essential in ensuring that all spaces are presented in a professional and welcoming manner before, during, and after events. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise event venues before, during, and after functions to ensure a pristine environment.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas including halls, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products as needed.
- Maintain equipment and cleaning tools in good condition for optimal performance.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or hazards during cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Work efficiently within allocated timeframes to prepare venues for upcoming events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure during busy event schedules.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours depending on event timings.
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for this role.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which involve standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety procedures is required to maintain a safe working environment.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
