Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is always delivered by staff.
- Ensure that stock is controlled efficiently.
- Ensure that station is applying the correct fuel retail prices as instructed from time to time to maximize fuel profit margins.
- Plan and manage the Staff Rota, stock availability and sales targets.
- Recruit and train service station staff.
- Assign, schedule and monitor the tasks of service station personnel.
- Carry out quarterly and weekly stock takes.
- Act as a key holder and attend the premises outside normal trading hours in the event of an alarm activation.
- Delegate all site duties effectively.
- Deal with customer complaints and provide solutions.
- Eligibility to Work in the UK.
- Ready to work company's other branches if required.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Any University degree and above.
English language proficiency: A degree, or an IELTS certificate at level B2 or UK NARIC or above, which is in line with the Skilled Worker Visa requirements.
Food Safety and Hygiene: At least level 2 food hygiene certified, Understanding and implementing food safety regulations and best practices is crucial to ensure the safety of customers and compliance with health codes.
Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory control to track stock levels, prevent wastage, and optimize ordering.
Customer Service: Understanding customer needs, preferences, and expectations to provide excellent service.
Financial Management: Basic financial knowledge for budgeting, cost control, financial tracking, profitability analysis and reporting.
Marketing and Promotion: Awareness of marketing strategies to attract and retain customers. Involvement in marketing campaigns or promotions is a plus.
Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, staff, and suppliers.
Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly address issues such as customer complaints, staff conflicts, or operational challenges.
Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Ensure that food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards are consistently met.
Customer Focus: A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer issues.
Teamwork: Collaborate with staff and other managers to achieve common goals, ability to work well cross-culturally with teams in different regions of the world,
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for tasks like inventory tracking, scheduling, and financial reporting.
Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer-facing roles to understand customer needs and expectations.
Staff Management: Experience in training and managing a team of employees.
