A family owned business Fingask Castle Cottages provide a home from home for our visitors. We are looking for people to work with us who love to keep places spic and span. Our 7 cottages range in style and size and we have 9 potting sheds (individual pods).
Do you love to provide a special place for guests, to ensure it is clean, tidy and presented well? Do you love to organise a kitchen, or to banish all cobwebs?

Hours between 9.30am – 4pm with some flexibility (and allowing for school hours). Change over days are Mondays and Fridays, our busy days that we need team members for. Other weekday and weekend work sometimes possible depending on bookings.
It would be fantastic if you have experience but more important to us is a good attitude, plenty of energy, and a great eye for detail. We have a small team, you will be happy to work in a small team or independently.
Fingask Castle is situated beside the village of Rait, close to Errol, between Perth and Dundee. We are looking for people who are relatively local and have their own transport due to the location. We provide a friendly and flexible work place, discounted stay options, free parking and a beautiful location.
Hours per week: averages between 10 – 16
Hourly rate: competitive, depends on knowledge & experience
*Responsibilities*
- Perform cleaning tasks such as cleaning kitchens including cookers, fridges, dishwashers, cleaning bathrooms/shower rooms, making beds, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Empty bins, restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and other consumables
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant supervisor
*Qualifications*
- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Requirement to have own transport due to location
- Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous but not essential
