We are looking for an experienced hospitality expert to come on board as an Assistant Manager. Someone who understands that people will forget what you do, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

The Role
Reporting to: Bev (Director)
Hours: min 20 hours per week, max 40. Hours split over 5 days per week. Some shifts may start from 6.30am. Some weekend and evening working will be required.
Location: Aberdeen, with delivery duties across Aberdeenshire, so you must have access to a car
This is a hands-on role. You will be accountable to the Director for the performance, standards, and culture of the bistro on a day-to-day basis.
You’ll need to roll your sleeves up and muck in; from washing dishes, peeling potatoes, to serving customers in the bistro or at corporate events, making food from scratch, cleaning, undertaking deliveries, admin.
Responsibilities
- Work the bistro or client premises to the highest standards, every shift
- Assist with bringing in new business; support sales and administration as required
- Manage and motivate the small team to build a positive culture
- Food preparation and front of house
- Daily stock control and accurate record keeping
- Maintain and uphold Standard Operating Procedures
- End of shift clear up and cleaning
- Treat every customer as a unique individual; go above and beyond, every time

You Have
- Previous catering and hospitality management experience
- Experience managing staff and motivating others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A full driving license and access to a car for every shift you work
