Poppets Assistant
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, fun, reliable and passionate individual to join our team at PQA Abingdon as a Poppets Assistant!
As a Poppets Assistant, you will support the Poppets Teacher in delivering engaging classes for children aged 4–6. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and has an interest in performing arts education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students during sessions
- Assisting with games, activities and class exercises
- Helping with classroom management
- Covering lessons when required
- Creating a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Energetic, reliable and enthusiastic
- Confident working with young children
- Willing to get involved and lead by example
- Passionate about performing arts and creativity
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- A background or strong interest in performing arts
- An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Commitment to completing mandatory online training prior to starting the role
