Caesars are looking for a Cook/kitchen assistant to join our friendly team.
Applicants MUST have previous experience working within the catering industry. Commercial kitchen experience preparing cooked and fresh food is essential. The successful applicant will be able to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and organisation.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with food preparation and stock rotation.
- Working independently preparing and cooking bulk café style foods
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Washing up and general kitchen duties.
- Working as part of a small team to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the café.
- Undertaking other kitchen-related duties as required.
The successful applicant should be:
- Friendly, reliable and punctual.
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy café environment.
- Passionate about producing quality food.
- Well presented with excellent standards of personal hygiene.
- In possession of a Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred, but not essential).
The position is 16–30 hours per week, with days and hours to be agreed, working between Monday and Saturday.
Holiday entitlement is 4 weeks per year, plus recognised Bank Holidays.
