Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and professional 3.5 Tonne Drivers for temporary ad-hoc deliveries for our client in the agricultural industry. You will be responsible for safely delivering goods to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate service.
The hours are between Monday - Friday 07:45 to finish, ad-hoc days.
You must have a clean driving licence and be over 25 for insurance purposes.
Previous delivery driving experience would be ideal, along with excellent customer service at delivery points.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding delivery details or any issues encountered
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
