Established in 1837, we are a family-owned successful independent retail business with four stores in Hampshire. We have an opportunity for an accomplished Restaurant Manager to head our busy catering operation at our New Milton Department Store.
With a hands-on, dynamic and energetic style you will demonstrate a wide skills profile. You will oversee a fast-paced restaurant and café operation which puts our customers first and delivers outstanding results. You will be leading the catering team, keeping them motivated and ensuring that they have the knowledge and confidence to create the best possible customer experience.
We would expect a proven track record in catering and the ability to demonstrate excellence and experience in the following competencies:
- Managing, training and leading a team.
- ‘Hands on’ Chef experience
- Stock control and ordering
- Cost control
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- A high standard of personal presentation
- Confident and professional approach
- Working, effective knowledge of EHO and Health and Safety regulations
