We are a local independent garage and are looking to recruit a vehicle technician/mechanic to work in our busy and friendly workshop.
The role will include servicing and maintaining customers vehicles to our high standards working on a variety of makes and models.
Requirements for the role are:
- Level 3 (NVQ, City & guilds or equivalent) in vehicle repairs
- Experience in Main Dealership or independent garages
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Happy to communicate with both staff and customers
- Have an organised and positive attitude approach to the varied work involved
- MOT licence would be advantageous or be willing to train
- Must have a full driving licence
Responsibilities of the role will include
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance repairs, changing cam-belts, clutches etc on all makes and models
- Carry out diagnostics of vehicle faults
- Repair and rectify electrical and mechanical defects to a high standard
- Liaising with customers when technical advise required
- Using latest diagnostic equipment
- MOT Testing (perferred but not essiential)
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
