30 hours per week on a rota basis including weekends

Required Skills
- Previous Housekeeping or Domestic experience in a Health or Social Care setting preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety including Infection Prevention and Control and CoSHH
- Organisation and efficiency
As a Housekeeper at Glasfryn House, you will be providing the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation within the Home.
We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team who takes the utmost pride in the work they do. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in a similar role and ideally, evidence relevant training.
Working within the Housekeeping Team, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness and hygiene of the Home’s communal spaces, service areas and the Individual’s rooms.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check, two satisfactory references and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
This role requires a good standard of the English language.
Outline of Responsibilities
- Carry out all duties as required by the Manager of the Home
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules, as directed
- Follow daily cleaning and deep cleaning schedules
- Ensure all waste is disposed of regularly, appropriately and materials are recycled
- Maintain the general tidiness of the communal areas of the Home and that of the Individual’s rooms
- Contribute to the highest standard of presentation of the Home
- Use laundry equipment, such as washing machines and irons, to clean and care for linens and personal clothing
- Assist the Maintenance Team with some outdoor cleaning and hygiene, when required
- Work in a way that maintains your health and safety and that of others, in accordance with relevant and legislation
- Complete all required relevant learning and development
- Carry out all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures and training of the Home
- Assisting with receiving orders/deliveries and monitoring stock
You will be required to attend an Induction for your role, attend regular relevant training sessions and complete an e-learning program.
