Duties
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Liaise with contractors to arrange maintenance and repairs, obtain costings and ensure works are completed within reasonable timescales.
- Monitor maintenance from initial report through to completion.
- Communicate professionally with landlords regarding property maintenance, repairs and tenant-related issues.
- Coordinate and carry out property inspections, identifying and recording any issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken.
- Assist with ensuring properties meet relevant health and safety and compliance requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Ensure company processes, systems, policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Provide proactive advice and guidance to landlords to help ensure their properties are maintained to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate property records and detailed notes.
- Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of the property portfolio.
- Deal confidently and professionally with tenant enquiries and property-related issues.
- Support the wider team with general property management and administrative duties when required.
Requirements
- Previous office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Administrative experience supporting busy teams or departments
- Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under pressure
- Basic understanding of real estate or property management industry is a plus
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Full driving licence
