About the Role:
At Ohio Syrup Food Innovations Ltd, we combine reliable supply chain operations with practical business insight to serve customers across the food and beverage sector. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can help us improve processes, interpret operational data and turn business requirements into clear and workable solutions.
You will work closely with teams across procurement, sales, finance, warehousing and distribution. Your role will be to understand how the business operates, identify opportunities for improvement and support projects that strengthen efficiency, customer service and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements:
Meet with internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements and document business needs clearly.
Process Analysis:
Review existing workflows across procurement, stock management, sales and distribution. Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
Data Analysis:
Analyse sales, inventory, supplier and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports, dashboards and performance summaries for managers and department leads.
Project Support:
Support business improvement projects from initial planning through implementation, testing and post implementation review.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non technical colleagues.
Systems Improvement:
Work with internal teams and external system providers to improve business systems, reporting tools and data accuracy.
Documentation:
Create process maps, requirement documents, user guides and project updates that are clear and easy to follow.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, operations analysis, data analysis or a similar commercial role.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to interpret business data, recognise patterns and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Technical Skills:
Confident using Microsoft Excel, reporting tools and business systems. Experience with Power BI, SQL or ERP platforms would be an advantage.
Communication:
Able to explain complex information clearly and work effectively with employees at different levels of the organisation.
Organisation:
Comfortable managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate documentation and meeting project deadlines.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, wholesale, logistics, supply chain or retail operations would be beneficial but is not essential.
Mindset:
You are practical, curious and solutions focused. You are comfortable asking questions, challenging inefficient processes and helping teams make better decisions.
Pay: £45,462.00-£63,493.00 per year
