Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy environment for guests and staff alike.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily cleaning schedules and meet operational standards with energy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles demonstrating strong attention to detail is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and report issues clearly.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
