Speedwell Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead.
We are based in a busy health centre and are looking for someone who can work accurately, efficiently and positively as part of the pharmacy team. The role will mainly involve preparing and managing MDS/dosette boxes, so attention to detail and good organisation are essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparing MDS/dosette boxes accurately and efficiently
Dispensing prescriptions safely under the supervision of the pharmacist
Ordering and managing stock
Supporting the delivery of pharmacy services, including services such as blood pressure checks
Speaking with patients and customers in a friendly, professional and helpful manner
Helping maintain high standards of accuracy, safety and customer service in the pharmacy
The ideal applicant should have NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent dispensing qualification. Previous experience with MDS/dosette boxes would be highly desirable.
