The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, taking ownership of day-to-day operational performance across recruitment operations, managed services and staff augmentation. - Maintain high standards of client, candidate and consultant service.
- Ensure effective use of the CRM, recruitment technology and operational systems, and maintain high standards of data quality and reporting.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate processes and controls.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing client agreements, managed service agreements, statements of work, supplier contracts and consultant/candidate terms, escalating to external legal counsel for complex or high-risk matters.
- Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance across client, supplier and consultant relationships, including employment status (IR35), data protection (UK GDPR) and other staffing-sector regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and external service providers.
- Support business planning, budgeting and operational decision-making.
- Build scalable, technology-enabled operational infrastructure to support continued growth.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years' proven experience in a senior operations, legal or compliance leadership role.
- Experience within recruitment, staffing, managed services, professional services or technology consulting.
- Master's degree in Law (LLM or equivalent), with 15+ years' post-qualification experience spanning legal, compliance and commercial contract management.

- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how operations drive business growth and profitability.
- Strong legal and compliance background, with substantial experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including client agreements, MSAs/SOWs and supplier terms, and sound working knowledge of IR35 and related employment status considerations, ideally within recruitment, staffing or managed services.
- Good working knowledge of AI, automation and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify practical operational applications.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Confident working directly with senior stakeholders and leadership.
